Vintage Cake Stand/Bon Bon Dish Midwinter Stylecraft Umbrella Shape Unusual Rare 1950s Staffordshire Pottery Made in England

Rare Vintage (1950s) Midwinter Stylecraft Staffordshire Pottery Fashion Shape, Ironstone Cake Stand/bon bon dish, highly collectible.

This is a vintage piece but is in very good condition for its age. It does have crazing as can be seen in the photographs and there are a couple of marks were paint has worn but this is minimal. There are no chips or cracks.

This is a really pretty piece and an item that is no longer in production.

The Midwinter Pottery was founded as W.R. Midwinter by William Robinson Midwinter in Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent in 1910 and had become one of England's largest potteries by the late 1930s with more than 700 employees. Production of Midwinter pottery ceased in 1987.

Many of the pieces produced by Midwinter in the 1950s and 1960s have become highly collectible, being typical of the styles of those eras.
