Vintage NatWest Wade - Woody (Baby) Piggy Bank - Collectible - Lovely Gift

Great for a collector or alternative a lovely present for someone special eg, Christening.

This is the lovely Woody (baby) piggy bank produced by Wade in Stoke-on-Trent. The back stamp confirms this is an original piece. Great condition with no chips or cracks. Has its original stopper which is worn but still works.

It was produced in the 1980s when the NatWest Bank in the UK started a promotion to try and attract young people to save with them and came up with the idea of having a family of pigs that would become collectable.
